Boyang Wei

My name is Boyang Wei, a current Computer Science PhD student at Northwestern University. I joined HABits Lab in Fall 2020 and work with Nabil Alshurafa in mHealth ubiquitous computing. We work closely with preventive medicine department, designing, building and analyzing end-to-end mHealth systems, while focusing on processing data to help answer health-related questions. My line of research focuses on behavioral and physical activities recognition from timeseries data by passive sensing.

I have a mixed background of Biochemistry, Computer Science and Analytics. My research interests range from machine learning, data analytics to mHealth and passive sensing.
